  • Unite Your Revenue Teams

The 1-Day Framework that Helps Business Owners Build Cohesive Sales & Marketing Teams

    broken image
  • They have different jobs. So what if they're not "united"?

It's true that there are different roles in attracting and securing new clients. Also, human beings will each approach their job in their own unique way, but if they are not aligned, it can be confusing for your audience. Sometimes, the team is going in so many directions that they start talking to totally different customer groups in totally different ways. This has some really negative results:

    • Inefficient sales process
    • Wasted marketing efforts
    • Lower conversion rates
    • Confusion about your value in the marketplace
    • Poor customer experience

P.S. That equals lost MONEY $$$$.

The problem is that both teams think they did what they were tasked to do. They were fully invested in their part of the process, but there's a gap. Prospects are now falling through the cracks and no one knows for sure why. Naturally, it must be the other team's fault.

In reality, sales and marketing teams don’t always play nice even though they ultimately have the same goal: Making clients love you and want to do business with you!

In fact, sometimes they act like an old married couple who spend all their time blaming each other for what goes wrong, instead of leveraging each other’s strengths to become a cohesive unit.

    broken image

So, if both want new clients to like you, trust you and buy from you, what's with the friction?

Whether the conflict is between sales and marketing, between sales and customer service, or between sales and… sales, it’s not pleasant for you or other team members in the organization. Unfortunately, your customers can feel it, too!

There are many causes, depending on the company – from conflicting vision, mismatched incentives, lack of tools and knowledge, turnover, product or service changes and more… All of those things can be addressed, but getting teams playing from the same song sheet is step one.

    Align Your Teams for Growth

Synergy between sales and marketing teams is not just beneficial; it's essential. Too many days are wasted placing blame on the other team when they could be leveraging both of their resources to attract the right prospects and guide qualified leads into happy, paying customers that turn into loyal, long-term partners.

Stop the finger-pointing in its tracks!

Change the vantage point to the experience customers have with you and everyone in your company. It all starts there.

Team Mojo facilitates an immersive day of roll-up-your-sleeves activities designed for sales and marketing professionals to break down silos and foster powerful collaboration that drives conversion.

    Meet Your Coach: Carrie Tuttle

Carrie supports leaders to inject more mojo into their work. As a seasoned sales and marketing executive and certified coach, she works with leaders to identify and improve the mindset and skillset barriers that hold them back.

    Coaching Approach

As a coach, Carrie is both pragmatic and empathetic. As examples, she helped an award-winning entrepreneur redefine himself while selling his company, a burned-out senior director to reposition herself to engage more meaningfully in her work, and project leaders create better creative connections among team members.

She loves guiding people to connect their passions to aspects of their work. She believes a coaching program should work for the client, not the other way around.

Since each student owns their outcomes, she plays an accountability role.

    Experience

In her professional career, she has led teams locally and virtually at the Director level. She has coached and consulted with Fortune 500 companies across North America with all levels of leadership. She has coached and trained leaders on communication skills, emotional intelligence and team leadership since 2018.

    Education

Carrie has a Bachelor of Commerce in marketing from The University of Calgary and post-bachelor studies in market research. She is formally trained in coaching modalities through the Coaches Training Institute (CTI). She holds accreditation with the International Coach Federation (ICF). Her assessment tool certifications include Emotional Intelligence EQi-2.0, PeopleBest and Extended DISC.
